University of Commerce announced the floor score of 20 and conversion method

(Dan Tri) - University of Commerce has just announced the floor score and equivalent conversion score for admission methods.

Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) applies to all candidates registering for admission, calculated based on the total score of 3 high school graduation exams/subjects (THPT) 2025 according to the most optimal combination corresponding to the registered major must be from 20 points or higher (30-point scale, including priority points for subjects and regional priorities).

Candidates with foreign language certificates/international testing certificates (specified in Table 1) can use the certificate conversion score to consider the entrance threshold.

The school does not have any difference in admission scores or admission scores between groups.

In 2025, the University of Commerce will enroll 5,320 students, an increase compared to last year (in 2024, it enrolled 4,950 students), with 45 training programs. The school also stopped considering independent transcripts.

The reason for the increase in quota is that the school opened 7 new programs following the international professional orientation (IPOP) including: Brand Management (Marketing), International Certified Integrated Auditing (Auditing), Economics and Investment Management (Economics), Business Law (Economic Law), E-commerce (E-commerce), Information Systems Management (Management Information Systems), Business Chinese (Chinese Language).

Last year, the University of Commerce set a floor score of 20.

This minimum score applies to all admission methods. Candidates who have met the admission requirements based on their academic records, aptitude and thinking test scores still need to meet this requirement.

Admission methods in 2025 include:

Direct admission, priority admission according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the School - Admission method code 301.

Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to each exam combination/subject - Admission method code 100.

Admission based on the results of the capacity assessment test (ĐGNL) organized by VNU Hanoi and thinking assessment (ĐGTD) organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology for university admission in 2025 - Admission method code 402.

Combined admission based on valid foreign language certificates/international testing certificates as of the registration date with the 2025 high school graduation exam results - Admission method code 409.

Combined admission based on valid foreign language certificates/international testing certificates as of the registration date with high school academic results - Admission method code 410.

Combined admission based on First, Second, and Third prizes in the excellent student selection exam (high school level) at the provincial/municipal level with the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam - Admission method code 500.

Thus, compared to last year, in 2025, the school will no longer consider independent transcripts for admission.

With the combined international certificate method, the school accepts IELTS from 5.0 or equivalent.

Candidates can convert their certificate scores on a 10-point scale, and receive an additional 0.5-3 bonus points depending on their IELTS certificate score.

This is the total score of three graduation exam subjects according to the combination. Candidates can use the converted score with international certificate to replace the Foreign Language subject.
