Le Quy Don Secondary School has 15 students winning prizes at the National IOE Competition for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Internet English Olympiad (IOE) aims to encourage the movement of teaching and learning English, create motivation and learning habits, and nurture students' love of English.

The contest is organized for students in grades: 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11.

Completing the national exam for the 2023-2024 school year, the system recorded more than 100,000 exam results from nearly 8,000 schools nationwide, an increase of 30% compared to the 2022-2023 school year. This is proof of the spread of the contest to students and educational institutions across the country. There were 5,250 prize-winning candidates.

Le Quy Don Secondary School, Lao Cai city had 24 students competing in grades 8 and 9; as a result, 15 students won prizes. Of which, grade 8 won 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 3 Encouragement Prizes (the whole country had 750 prizes for grade 8); grade 9 won 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 2 Encouragement Prizes (the whole country had 750 prizes for grade 9).

Four students of the school were present at the honor ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates, medals and souvenirs to students with high achievements to recognize their achievements. At the same time, it encouraged and spread the spirit of positive learning to students in educational institutions nationwide in the following school years.
