Vietnam futsal team received big reward from VFF after winning all matches

(Dan Tri) - Winning all matches in the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship qualifying round, the Vietnamese futsal team was awarded 600 million VND by the VFF.

In Group E of the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship qualifiers taking place in Hangzhou (China), the Vietnamese futsal team won all three matches against Hong Kong (China, with a score of 9-1), China (7-2) and Lebanon (4-0).

This result helps coach Diego Giustozzi's team (Argentine) firmly top Group E, winning the first ticket of this group to enter the final round (VCK).

Due to the good results achieved by the Vietnamese futsal team, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) awarded the entire team 600 million VND.

Notably, according to statistics from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the Vietnamese futsal team is the second team to officially win a ticket to the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals, just after the host team of the finals, Indonesia (as of this afternoon).

The 2026 AFC Futsal Championship will take place from January 27 to February 7, 2026. A total of 16 teams will participate in the finals. The next tickets to the Asian Championship will be decided tonight (September 24), early tomorrow morning (September 25, Vietnam time) and next October (Group D of the qualifying round will take place in October).

The 16 teams participating in the final round will include host Indonesia, the 8 group winners of the qualifying round, and the 7 second-place teams with the best qualifying round results.
