Vietnam continues to promote relations with Poland and Venezuela

On September 24, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Le Hoai Trung met with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto in New York.

Acting Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership with Venezuela and hopes that the two Foreign Ministries will continue to closely coordinate to further tighten the Party channel relationship between the two countries, while promoting economic , trade, investment and other areas of cooperation in depth, for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

On the same day in New York, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. Both sides agreed that the two countries have great potential and favorable opportunities to promote relations to new heights.

The Deputy Prime Minister also asked the Polish National Assembly to soon ratify the Vietnam-European Union Investment Protection Agreement and to have a positive voice so that the European Commission can remove the IUU "yellow card" for Vietnamese seafood products./.
