Vietjet makes a strong breakthrough, revenue and profit grow remarkably

(Chinhphu.vn) – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) announced its audited financial report for the first six months of 2025 with outstanding growth results, affirming its international stature, attracting investment, and building Vietnam into a driving force for aviation development in the region and the world.

Solid financial growth

Vietjet has operated 79,000 flights, transported 14.4 million passengers, and contributed more than VND 4,528 billion in taxes and fees to the State budget.

Air transport revenue reached 35,601 billion VND, pre-tax profit was nearly 1,600 billion VND, up 37% over the same period. Consolidated revenue was 35,837 billion VND, pre-tax profit was more than 1,651 billion VND, up 65%.

At the Paris Air Show 2025, Vietjet signed a historic order for 100 A321neo aircraft with 50 purchase options - the largest deal in the industry, putting Vietjet in the Top 10 airlines with the largest ordered fleet globally.

Vietjet and Rolls-Royce also signed an order for 40 more Trent 7000 engines to operate 20 Airbus A330neo wide-body aircraft, bringing the total number of Trent 7000 engines that Vietjet has ordered to 80.

Groundbreaking ceremony of strategic project in Long Thanh

Vietjet officially started construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center in Long Thanh, including hangars 3 and 4, capable of maintaining 10 aircraft at the same time according to international standards. This is a key project in a series of 80 projects celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day.

At the same time, Vietjet deployed ground self-service at major airports, improving service quality, optimizing operations and bringing outstanding experiences to passengers.
