On May 30, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) held its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, aiming to continue developing domestic services and investing in its fleet for long-term development.

In 2024, Vietjet recorded positive business performance with the highest revenue ever, the international flight network is increasingly expanding, boosting revenue.

In 2024, Vietjet transported 25.9 million passengers (excluding Vietjet Thailand), including more than 9 million international passengers, an increase of 18% compared to 2023. Vietjet opened 20 new international and domestic routes, bringing the total number of routes to 145, including 101 international routes and 44 domestic routes. Vietjet is the first airline to have routes connecting Vietnam with the 5 largest cities in Australia, operating the most routes between Vietnam and India, China, Korea, Japan, etc.

According to the audited business results, in 2024, Vietjet achieved parent company revenue of VND 71,734 billion, pre-tax profit of VND 1,748 billion. Consolidated revenue reached VND 72,045 billion, pre-tax profit reached more than VND 1,823 billion.

As of December 31, 2024, Vietjet's total assets reached nearly VND99,300 billion, debt/equity ratio of 2.03 times and liquidity ratio of 1.58 times are at a good level in the aviation industry.

Cash balance, bank deposits plus working capital limit, ensuring the company's solvency according to the plan. Vietjet has contributed more than 7,500 billion VND in direct and indirect taxes and fees to the budget in 2024.

In early 2025, Vietjet marked an important milestone in its development journey by conducting its first flight from Vietnam to the United States. To serve its new development plan in the next decade, Vietjet and Airbus reached an agreement to purchase 20 new wide-body A330neo aircraft, bringing the total number of wide-body aircraft ordered to 40.

With a sustainable development plan, Vietjet continuously invests in ground operations, technical services, and human resource training and development.
