Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz will be the first pair in the men's singles semi-finals of Wimbledon 2025.

Second seed Alcaraz showed a devastating performance when he easily defeated home player Cameron Norrie after just three sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3, 6-3.

In the match that lasted only 1 hour and 39 minutes, the defending champion showed complete superiority. He had 39 winners and especially did not lose a single serve. "To reach the Wimbledon semi-finals again is very special," Alcaraz shared after the convincing victory.

In contrast to Alcaraz's quick victory, his semi-final opponent Taylor Fritz had to go through a dramatic match with Karen Khachanov.

The American started strongly and won the first two sets 6-3, 6-4. However, he suddenly lost control and quickly lost 1-6 in the third set.

The No. 5 seed had to work hard to regain control of the match and win the tie-break in the fourth set to set the final score 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6,

Alcaraz is rated higher than Fritz when he is in good form and plays on his favorite grass field.

The remaining men's singles semi-final pair will be determined after the two quarter-final matches between Novak Djokovic vs. Flavio Cobolli and Jannik Sinner vs. Ben Shelton take place tonight (July 9).
