Verifying information about suspected invigilator taking photos of Math exam at Bac Ninh school

On the afternoon of June 15, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said that the unit has requested and coordinated with the authorities to verify and clarify the information about the suspected invigilator taking photos of the Math exam.

In response to information reported on social networks by public opinion that an exam supervisor in the 2024-2025 High School Entrance Exam in Bac Ninh province took a photo of a candidate's exam paper, on the afternoon of June 15, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said that the unit has requested and coordinated with the authorities to verify and clarify the above information. The Department's viewpoint is to strictly handle violations and the responsibility of related people (if any).

Accordingly, the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Bac Ninh province took place from June 6-8. At the end of the exam on June 8, information appeared on social networks from a parent whose child took the 10th grade math exam at the Nguyen Dang Dao High School exam site, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province, writing, "When the test was almost finished, a male exam supervisor arbitrarily invited his child out of the exam room (requested to bring the test paper) into the restroom. He closed the restroom door and used his phone to take pictures of the entire test paper of the candidate. The candidate asked the teacher why he took the pictures, the exam supervisor replied that the teacher took the pictures to bring home for reference..."

Speaking to reporters from the Vietnam News Agency, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said that immediately after receiving the feedback, the Department requested and coordinated with the authorities to verify the information. Currently, the authorities have stepped in to clarify the information.

The Department is open and transparent in accordance with the provisions of the law on information; at the same time, ensuring the legitimate and fair rights of candidates and staff, teachers performing the exam work...

In the recent 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Bac Ninh province, more than 16,300 candidates completed the exam.

The Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province assessed that all examination processes and procedures were fully and accurately implemented by the Examination Councils, ensuring safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Bac Ninh province has a total of 13,695 targets for grade 10 public high schools. According to the plan, on June 16, the Department will announce the exam results./.
