On September 24, an article appeared on social media about a document titled "Plan to honor the Diamond - Gold - Silver - Bronze Parents' Association for the 2025-2026 school year" of the Parents' Association of Yen My High School, Hung Yen province.

The text calls on parents to donate money from 3 to 20 million VND to be honored and respected.

Specifically, this document clearly states that support levels are divided into 4 categories: Bronze (3-5 million), silver (6-10 million), gold (11-19 million) and diamond (from 20 million VND or more).

Parents who contribute more will be honored at the opening and closing ceremonies; their names will be listed on the school's honor roll, and they will receive certificates and medals. Their names or logos will also be printed on banners at competitions and they will be invited to attend special school events...

Many opinions online say that ranking parents like that is not suitable for the educational environment, because each family's economic conditions are different.

Regarding the above information, speaking with VietNamNet reporter , Ms. Luu Phuong Anh, Vice Principal of Yen My High School, affirmed that there was no such thing as the school's parents' association calling for such honor.

Ms. Phuong Anh said that all activities of the parents' association in the school must be approved by the Board of Directors. Before the new school year, representatives of the parents' association had a meeting with the school's Board of Directors, but there was no ranking of parents according to the diamond - gold - silver - bronze levels as the post stated.

"We have seen the documents circulating on social media and confirm that this is not the case, and the documents do not have a red stamp. The school's board of directors has asked the police to get involved to verify the information and see who posted this document on social media," said Ms. Phuong Anh.

The Vice Principal of Yen My High School added that on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the school issued an open letter calling on former students, parents and some organizations to support operating expenses, but there was no ranking of parents based on contributions.
