Ha Tinh health sector will arrange enough human resources, vehicles, medicine and equipment to provide emergency care, medical examination and treatment to serve candidates and forces participating in the 10th grade entrance exam.

In 2023, the whole province will have nearly 17,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam, of which more than 15,800 candidates will register for non-specialized public high schools, and more than 1,000 candidates will take the exam for Ha Tinh Specialized High School. The exam is expected to take place from June 6-7, 2023.
To ensure the health of candidates and exam supervisors, the Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control coordinated with local medical centers to organize monitoring teams, support exam sites, review emergency procedures, treatment, ensure food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, clean water, etc.
Up to now, basically, the examination sites have had plans to ensure medical work such as: medical rooms, hospital beds, medicine, medical supplies... Through monitoring, the Provincial Center for Disease Control has also required each examination room to have hand sanitizer to prevent and fight COVID-19 and other summer diseases; prepare enough masks for candidates to use when necessary; medical rooms of schools prepare additional rapid COVID-19 tests for use with candidates showing suspicious signs. Focus on propagating to candidates not to eat foods of unknown origin, not ensuring food safety and hygiene before and during the exam.

Doctor Le Chanh Thanh - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Health said: "The Department of Health has directed medical centers of districts, cities and towns to develop plans to ensure health and prevent and control epidemics at examination sites. At the same time, each examination council will be assigned 1 doctor and 1 nurse, equipped with emergency medicine and necessary specialized equipment to examine, provide first aid and emergency care to teachers, students and staff on duty when there are health problems.
Assign district general hospitals to prepare ambulances, 2-3 hospital beds and other conditions to be on standby, provide emergency care to patients at the unit and mobilize timely response when situations arise. Provide instructions on COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures to the examination council and candidates. The Provincial Center for Disease Control arranges mobile teams to prevent and control the epidemic to be ready to support when requested."
