Ninh Chu National Tourist Area is a key tourist area of Ninh Thuan province, playing an important role in promoting socio-economic development, especially tourism for Ninh Thuan province in particular and the South Central region in general, with outstanding tourism potentials in the region, accordingly building Ninh Chu National Tourist Area of about 12,200 hectares, is a coastal strip of Ninh Thuan province, under the administrative boundaries of Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Phuoc district and Thuan Nam district. As a national tourist area, with a focus on tourism economic activities exploiting marine economic values, diverse and highly specific landscape ecological values, playing an important role in promoting socio-economic development, especially tourism for Ninh Thuan province, the South Central region and the country.
With the development of Ninh Chu National Tourist Area in close connection with other important tourism potentials in the West of Ninh Thuan province, the South Central Coast, the Central Highlands and the Southeast region. Along with promoting unique advantages in natural conditions, climate, landscape, water space, sea space, land, coastal ecosystems, ensuring sustainable development, synchronous social infrastructure system, technical infrastructure, limiting site clearance, protecting ecological environment, landscape, effectively responding to climate change, preventing and combating natural disasters, coastal erosion; harmoniously developing tourism with mineral exploitation, agriculture, forestry, fishery and energy; ensuring the interests of the State, communities and businesses, implementing social justice, maintaining national security, social order and safety and poverty reduction.
Particularly attracting investment to develop coastal areas of Ninh Thuan province, becoming one of the national key tourist areas, an attractive, distinctive destination, highly competitive in the region, the country and internationally and contributing to attracting investment resources from society, FDI capital, DDI from large domestic and international corporations and enterprises, contributing to promoting the development of the tourism industry to soon become one of the six economic pillars of Ninh Thuan province.
Developing the common space of the entire Ninh Chu National Tourist Area; determining the development direction and development principles for each typical sub-region with Ninh Chu as the center, Binh Tien - Vinh Hy, Mui Dinh - Ca Na as satellites in a sustainable and unique direction; developing community tourism, in parallel with high-end tourism projects, renovation and embellishment, concentrated investment and development areas of the national tourist area, gateway areas, landscape axes, natural and cultural conservation spaces; national defense areas according to current legal regulations.
