Sounds from pottery: Leading the public back to the memory of indigenous culture

GOm show – a music project by the Dan Do artist group with most of its instruments made from ceramics – is a wordless performance that still leads viewers back to the memories of indigenous culture, expressing a slice of the Vietnamese soul.

From the gentle tap of an earthenware jar to the clear sound of a ceramic bowl... seemingly silent objects suddenly speak up.

Through two shows in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City last July, the audience entered a world rich in feelings, where each layer of sound awakened the imagination, evoked cultural memories, and led listeners through diverse but unified sound spaces./.
