Physician Nguyen Cong Duc - former lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City - believes that disease comes from the mouth. Excess fat in the body can lead to dangerous diseases such as high blood pressure, myocardial infarction, stroke... Some recent studies show that fatty liver is often accompanied by lipid disorders and liver enzyme disorders.

Traditional medicine practitioner Nguyen Cong Duc said that currently, treating fatty liver disease is not easy. To prevent fatty liver, we need to avoid eating a lot of fat, sugar, starch, not drinking a lot of alcohol and exercise regularly.

- Garlic:

Garlic and garlic products reduce the average level of triglycerides and cholesterol. The main active ingredient in garlic is essential oil, with sulfur and vinyl polysulfur. Garlic is rich in volatile pungent substances with sulfur compounds, which can eliminate fat deposits in the blood vessels. Research also proves that using garlic helps delay the formation and development of fatty liver.

Note, traditional medicine believes that people with yin deficiency and excess fire and diseases of the eyes, mouth, tongue, throat... should not use much.

- Onion:

Onions contain allyl and propyl disulfide which helps increase the activity of fiber-decomposing enzymes, promote blood clot dissolution and reduce blood fat, help reduce peripheral blood pressure, stabilize blood pressure, and prevent other cardiovascular diseases.

- Radish:

Radishes have detoxifying effects, aid digestion, relieve constipation, lower blood pressure, and reduce fat. Radishes have the effect of metabolizing fat, preventing the accumulation of fat under the skin, and have a clear effect of reducing obesity.

Radishes not only help prevent hyperlipidemia, obesity with fatty liver, and coumaric acid also has the effect of reducing blood sugar and stabilizing blood pressure.

- Celery:

Modern medical research shows that celery has the effect of reducing cholesterol and breaking down fat. Celery added with spices has the effect of clearing blood vessels, lowering blood pressure, clearing the liver, reducing fat, clearing wind, brightening eyes, refreshing urination and protecting capillaries...

- Cucumber:

Cucumbers contain fiber, which has a certain effect of promoting the excretion of waste and reducing cholesterol. At the same time, it helps stabilize blood pressure, reduce obesity, and sore throat.

Cucumber also contains malonic acid, which can inhibit sugar from converting into fat, suitable for people with obesity, high blood fat, high blood pressure, and gout.

- Shiitake mushrooms:

Butyric acid in shiitake mushrooms has the effect of reducing serum lipids. Choline, oxidant enzymes and some nucleic acids have the effect of reducing blood pressure, cholesterol and blood lipids, and preventing arteriosclerosis and cirrhosis.

- Wood ear mushrooms:

- Lotus root:

Helps with appetite, replenishes blood, builds muscle, quenches thirst, has anti-aging effects, reduces fat, stabilizes blood pressure. Use fresh roots to prepare dishes or dried roots to make drinking water.

- Aloe vera:

Fresh aloe vera helps lower blood lipids and liver fat, while also reducing and stabilizing blood pressure, stabilizing blood sugar, and preventing atherosclerosis. People with weak spleen and stomach (or loose stools) should not use it.
