Nursery teacher Roksana Lecka has been accused by investigators of abusing 21 children at Riverside Nursery, including kicking children in the face and stepping on their shoulders. Lecka's child abuse is causing a stir in British public opinion.
According to authorities, Lecka's actions were discovered after she repeatedly pinched many young children while she was not "sober".

Immediately afterwards, local police checked the surveillance cameras at the nursery and discovered images of Lecka frequently pinching many young children while taking care of them.
Every working day, she pinched the children, the number of attacks was up to dozens of times, causing the children to cry, be scared, and avoid her when she came near.
In particular, Lecka kicked a boy in the face multiple times. She pushed several children around and often grabbed them by the head while supervising the class. When she saw a boy crying loudly, Lecka covered his mouth with her hand.
Police reviewed surveillance cameras and discovered that Lecka had been abusing children for months. Lecka had also shown signs of child abuse at Little Munchkins, where she had previously worked, but the most serious abuse was recorded at Riverside.
After the shocking discovery, Riverside Kindergarten was temporarily closed. This place is considered a kindergarten for "rich kids" because the tuition fee here is up to 1,900 pounds/month (equivalent to 67 million VND/month).
“The cameras clearly recorded Lecka repeatedly attacking the children, from pinching, pulling, throwing them into the crib, to repeatedly kicking one boy in the face and stomping on his shoulder,” said police investigator Geoff Boye.
During the investigation, Lecka admitted to using marijuana before going to work. There were times when Lecka used e-cigarettes in class, right next to children.
Detective Inspector Sian Hutchings said: “Families trusted Lecka with their children, and other staff at the nursery trusted her. But what was captured on camera was absolutely horrifying.”

During Lecka's time working at Riverside Nursery, several parents reported injuries and bruises to the principal, but each time there was a complaint, Lecka gave seemingly reasonable reasons to reassure the parents.
The investigation has now concluded and Lecka will be sentenced on September 26 at Kingston Criminal Court.
Prosecutor Gemma Burns said: “Lecka repeatedly demonstrated her callousness in the way she treated these innocent children. We have compelling evidence that she deliberately targeted young children when other colleagues were absent from the classroom.
Lecka had a responsibility to protect and care for the children, but instead she abused them over a long period of time. The victims were children who were completely defenseless.”
“The families we represent are not only shocked but traumatised by what their children have endured,” said attorney Jemma Till, who represents some of the parents. “Although Lecka’s cruelty has been uncovered, the psychological impact on the children and their families will be long-lasting.”
Liberal Democrat MP Munira Wilson has called for urgent reform of the nursery system to ensure absolute safety for children. “Childcare facilities need to be subject to surprise inspections by Ofsted , especially where there are concerns about safety. CCTV cameras also need to be checked regularly,” Ms Wilson said.
