On the afternoon of August 11, Yen Khanh district continued to organize a live-fire exercise and closed the 2023 district defense area exercise.
After 2 days of organization, the Yen Khanh district defense area exercise in 2023 has successfully completed the contents and program plan set out.
According to the assessment of the Steering Committee of the exercise, during the exercise, the steps were carried out smoothly, ensuring the principle and mechanism of "the Party leads, the government operates, the military agencies, the police and departments, branches and organizations advise and organize the implementation"; the stages of transferring the armed forces into combat readiness states and transferring localities into defense states were correctly carried out. All were carried out closely to reality, ensuring secrecy, safety, science and principles.
Party committees and authorities from district to commune have grasped the requirements and procedures for leadership, direction and management when moving localities into national defense states and combat readiness states of the armed forces. In each state, appropriate leadership and direction measures have been proposed, close to the task situation and reality of the locality.
The District Military and Police Department has performed well its advisory function to the local Party Committee and authorities in carrying out the drill steps, clearly demonstrating the urgency in the requirements of combat readiness, combat preparation and combat practice; maintaining and fully implementing the sequence of content required in each stage of the drill.
The departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the Party and government blocs under the direction of the Party Committee and the government have performed well their advisory roles, proposed and put forth measures for direction and management that are close to the situation and tasks of each unit and suitable to the local reality, demonstrating the combined strength of the entire political system in the task of protecting the Fatherland.
Through the exercise, it has contributed to improving the level and capacity of leadership and direction of Party committees, management and administration of authorities at all levels in moving armed forces into combat readiness states, and moving localities into defense states. Improving the level and capacity of military agencies, police and departments, branches, organizations, combat readiness level, and command coordination between forces; thereby, raising awareness of defense and security tasks for local officials and people.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity to complete and supplement plans and combat plans, closely linking economic development with strengthening national defense and security in the current situation, contributing to building an increasingly solid defense zone of Yen Khanh district.
On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing the Yen Khanh district defense area exercise in 2023 were commended by the Provincial Military Command, Yen Khanh District People's Committee, and Yen Khanh District Military Command.
