On August 20, the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area announced that over the past two weekends (August 16 and 17), the unit continuously carried out rescue work for 3 cases of tourists needing assistance while climbing the mountain.
The initial cause was determined to be bad weather, rain and darkness quickly making the road slippery and dangerous, causing tourists to lose their way.
In addition, the lack of experience in climbing in complex conditions and the lack of preparation and equipment with necessary safety items and equipment are also important factors causing unsafe conditions.

To ensure the safety of tourists when conquering Ba Den Mountain, the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area recommends that tourists strictly comply with the regulations during the entire process of participating in the activity to ensure their own safety and protect the natural environment.
All visitors need to register their personal information at the Management Board's security checkpoint before starting the climbing journey. Participants need to ensure they are in good health and fully equipped with some necessary protective equipment to deal with situations that may arise during the climbing process.
Please note that climbing should only be done between 6am and 12pm to ensure safety. Avoid climbing outside of this time period due to unfavorable light and weather conditions. Absolutely do not climb in adverse weather conditions such as rain, storms, thunder or strong winds. Always check the weather forecast before deciding to climb.
