Bridge between businesses and government

Dr. Ho Viet Hiep - Chairman of the Provincial Business Association said: "The "Business Coffee" program has been maintained by the province for 8 years, creating opportunities for member businesses to meet and connect for trade. Some departments and branches quickly inform policies related to businesses, listen to businesses reflect on problems and difficulties, and make recommendations to the government for quick and timely resolution. At the same time, build the image of the An Giang provincial government leadership as dynamic, creative, always accompanying businesses".

Since the beginning of 2025, the Association has organized the "Business Coffee" program three times. Many businesses have recognized the efforts to innovate in management methods, especially when An Giang province deployed the 2-level local government model. The shift from management thinking to service thinking has created an open and friendly environment, helping businesses clearly feel the government's support in all activities; creating motivation for businesses to confidently invest, encouraging the spirit of innovation, expanding production, and improving competitiveness.

In the context of many difficulties and challenges, businesses recommend that the government should continue to play a creative role, taking businesses and people as the center of service; have more support mechanisms and policies, creating favorable conditions for businesses. Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Agimexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Pham Thi Bich Thuy shared: "After many years of participation, businesses are very united with the Association to lead the province's business sector to develop more and more. We hope that the Association will act as a bridge, connecting businesses in An Giang and Kien Giang provinces (before the merger) so that businesses have more opportunities to trade, connect, promote commercial goods, and introduce each other's products. At the same time, it is necessary to have an office located in Long Xuyen ward because this area has more than 8,000 businesses".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Business Association added: "Resolving difficulties and obstacles for businesses and fulfilling the task of being a bridge between the government and businesses is the most important task of the Association. Through the Zalo group, the Business Support Board regularly consults on questions, introduces businesses to use each other's products, proposes solutions when members need credit, human resources, raw materials, and provides trade information... more than 200 times. In addition, we also participate in dialogues with businesses organized by the Provincial People's Committee, tax and customs departments."

The Association also actively attended conferences to promote bank credit, contributing to promoting economic growth; providing information on difficulties and solutions for small and micro enterprises to access loans; exchanging, visiting and cooperating with enterprises after the merger of the province; participating in trade transaction conferences in the Cambodian market with the working delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade ... Along with that, coordinating with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises organized training to improve marketing capacity for more than 100 enterprises; supporting enterprises to implement digital transformation projects.

Currently, the An Giang Business Association and the Kien Giang Business Association are carrying out merger procedures. Enterprises expect that this merger will open up great opportunities, the new Business Association will continue to grow, act as a bridge, connect, and accompany to promote sustainable development of enterprises in the new era.
