There are still 20 days left until the Lunar New Year 2025, but the trend of "checking in" for Tet is very popular in the community, especially among young people. At many street corners, coffee shops, Tet flower markets or tourist attractions, historical sites... many people have chosen different styles to take photos to welcome Tet.

Confident with the elegant modernized Ao Dai, Nguyen Anh Thu (Gia Cam ward, Viet Tri city) said: Every year, my friends and I take photos in Ao Dai during Tet. This year, we chose Hung Lo communal house as the location to combine sightseeing and take beautiful photos at a famous historical site of our hometown. Learning from previous years' experience, we made an appointment with the photographer early and went around Ao Dai rental shops to choose the most suitable Ao Dai and accessories.

Choosing for herself a photo album in a gentle and simple style, Ms. Vu Thanh Dung in Hung Vuong ward, Phu Tho town was very excited to transform into the image of a young country girl carrying a basket to go to the Tet market in the 80s and 90s of the last century with a small floral ao dai, wooden clogs, and a rattan basket. Ms. Dung shared: To transform into the image of mothers in the past in the most natural way, I learned how to walk, gesture, and take photos at that time. However, to save money, I did my own makeup in the style of the 80s and 90s, using ao dai and accessories (market basket, hand-held flowers...) available at home, not too fussy but still had a beautiful, satisfactory photo album.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh (Hung Lo commune, Viet Tri city) chose to take a set of Tet photos at MiO Milktea & Coffee cafe on Ha Lieu street, Gia Cam ward, Viet Tri city. In the old Tet space with rose branches, dried onion and garlic vines, piggy banks... and bright pots of chrysanthemums, Ms. Linh had for herself a set of Tet photos imbued with the nostalgic style of the old Tet.

Walking around the Tet flower market at Hung Vuong Square, Viet Tri City, it is not difficult to see colorful Ao Dai, blooming next to peach blossoms or marigolds, chrysanthemums, camellias, azaleas, sunflowers... The flower market is not only a space for spring travel and shopping, it is also a place for many people to check-in and capture beautiful moments of spring.

With many years of experience in taking Tet photos, Mr. Dang Thanh Quang, owner of Sweet Photography (Viet Tri City) shared: The trend of taking Tet photos of people, especially young people in recent years, is no longer strange. Since the 11th lunar month, my colleagues and I have had customers booking photo shoots. On average, the shop takes 3-5 photos a day for customers, mainly aged 16-30.

To give customers more options for outdoor or indoor shooting, his shop has designed many photo angles with different Tet themes. He actively researched customs and traditions to create shooting angles inspired by familiar, rustic images of the old Tet such as pink peach blossoms, red parallel sentences, green Chung cakes... However, to attract young customers, photographers must also constantly change, update their knowledge, find new, unique camera angles, "hot" locations... to create a difference, keeping up with the trends of young people.

It can be seen that taking photos to celebrate Tet is not only to preserve moments and memories, but it is also a way to get closer and preserve the traditional beauty of the traditional Vietnamese New Year. The trend of "checking in" before Tet has made the spring atmosphere more bustling and joyful, contributing to promoting Phu Tho tourism.
