Hai Duong 's February consumer price index increased 0.05% compared to January.

On average, in the first two months of 2024, CPI increased by 4.44% over the same period in 2023. Compared to January, 5 groups of goods and services increased in price and 5 groups decreased in price, only the education group kept its price stable.

Some commodity groups had large price fluctuations, greatly affecting the CPI, such as: the transportation group increased by 2.56% due to the increase in fuel prices by 5.89%. The food and catering services group increased by 0.87%, due to the increase in prices of many items such as rice, livestock meat, poultry meat, and processed meat. The February consumer price index increased due to the Lunar New Year, when people's shopping and consumption needs increased.
