Program "Golden Opportunity": Recreating the nation's heroic history to step firmly into the future

On the evening of August 22, under the direction of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Vietnam Television coordinated with the Party Committees and People's Committees of the cities: Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City to organize the political and artistic television program "Golden Opportunity", on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

At the Hanoi bridge, the program "Golden Opportunity" took place at the Hanoi Flag Tower.

The program "Golden Opportunity" was broadcast live from 3 historical and emotional locations: Hanoi Flag Tower - the resilient symbol of the Capital; Ngo Mon Square (Hue) - the place connecting the past and the present; Nha Rong Wharf (HCMC) - the starting point of President Ho Chi Minh 's journey to find a way to save the country.

Attending the program, at the Hanoi bridge point were President Luong Cuong, along with comrades: Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Head of the Central Inspection Commission ; Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

At the Hue City bridge point, there were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The Ho Chi Minh City bridge included National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and representatives of several central and city ministries, branches and sectors.

A special art performance in the program "Golden Opportunity"

“Golden Opportunity” is not just a TV show but an emotional journey where history comes alive through sound, images, light and memories. Inspired by the poem Learning to Play Chess by President Ho Chi Minh, the program “Golden Opportunity” is divided into 3 chapters:

Chapter 1: "Must look broadly, think carefully", recreates the historic moment in August 1945, when the nation rose up to seize power under the skillful leadership of the Party and Uncle Ho.

Chapter 2: “Resolutely and relentlessly attack”, leads the audience through the stages from resistance to innovation, where every challenge is an opportunity created by intelligence and courage.

Chapter 3: “Certain Success” depicts a modern Vietnam, facing a golden opportunity for sustainable and powerful development.

The program "Golden Opportunity" recreates the heroic history of the Vietnamese people.

At each location, modern stage technology such as multi-dimensional LED, 3D Mapping and top-notch sound and lighting brought the audience into the center of history.

In particular, in the program "Golden Opportunity", delegates and audiences met many special historical witnesses, people who have contributed to creating the country's appearance today.

Along with that, many famous artists bring immortal songs and new emotional compositions.

With a duration of about 100 minutes, the program "Golden Opportunity" took the audience back in history, through stories from the past and present, along with profound artistic performances, to fully experience the country's 80-year journey from the perspective of the art of predicting, seizing and acting on the right opportunity.

In particular, “Golden Opportunity” is not only a television program, but also a journey for each audience to relive history, be proud and together continue the aspiration to build a developed and prosperous Vietnam in the new era.
