(NLDO) - The operation of a direct flight from Warsaw, Poland to Cam Ranh will expand the source of tourists to Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular.
On January 29 (the first day of Tet), the direct flight from Poland was the first flight from Europe to "break ground" in Khanh Hoa province.
Accordingly, SkyUp Airlines flight number U5 2297 departed from Warsaw International Airport (Poland) and landed at Cam Ranh International Airport.
This is the first flight bringing tourists from Europe to Cam Ranh International Airport, contributing to making Khanh Hoa a friendly, safe and attractive destination domestically and internationally.

Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Department of Tourism, the Central Aviation Authority at Cam Ranh International Airport and related units were present to welcome tourists from Poland on this "first flight".
The first tourists to arrive at Cam Ranh International Airport were given gifts, flowers and lucky red envelopes.

The operation of direct flights from Warsaw, Poland to Cam Ranh will expand the source of European tourists to Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular.
It is known that there will be 3 direct flights from Poland to Khanh Hoa every month with more than 530 passengers.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, presented flowers to congratulate the first European tourists on the occasion of the New Year of the Snake 2025.
According to tourism industry statistics, in 2024, Khanh Hoa will serve about 181,700 tourists from Europe out of a total of more than 4.7 million international visitors to Khanh Hoa.
The Government has just issued Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 15, 2025 on visa exemption under the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025 for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
This is a positive signal for Khanh Hoa tourism industry to expand the market and develop potential visitors from the above countries.
The 45-day visa exemption for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland is an opportunity to develop the market from these European countries.
Visa exemption for citizens of these countries is for a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry for tourism purposes under programs organized by Vietnamese international travel service businesses, regardless of passport type, on the basis of meeting all entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law.
And the visa exemption policy for citizens of the above countries to enter Vietnam will be implemented from March 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
