CAND T&T Table Tennis Club continues to affirm its strength in a domestic playground, when it soon won the championship in the 2025 National Strong Teams Tournament.

The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Strong Teams has the participation of nearly 130 excellent players from 12 strong teams nationwide to compete and seek a place to attend the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December. The opening ceremony took place on the evening of September 21, marking the start of more than a week of exciting competition from September 19 to 28 at Vinh Phuc Stadium, Phu Tho.

This afternoon, the final match of the men's team table tennis took place between CAND T&T Club and Hai Phong 1. Previously in the semi-finals, CAND T&T beat the Army 3-0, while Hai Phong 1 beat Hanoi 1 3-2.

Sharing about his players' gold medal, coach Vu Manh Cuong said: "Winning the national championship is difficult, maintaining the team championship is very difficult. So this is an achievement that both the coaching staff and the athletes are very happy about. It is important to know that opponents like Hanoi and Hai Phong all have good athletes. Basically, I am satisfied with what the athletes have shown, technique, training, competition attitude... everything is relatively stable."

In the final, CAND T&T Club overwhelmingly defeated Hai Phong 1 with a score of 3-0. The matches included Dinh Anh Hoang and Nguyen Duy Phong (3-1), Le Dinh Duc and Nguyen Duc Tuan (3-1), Ta Hong Khanh and Doan Ba ​​Tuan Anh (3-1).

In recent tournaments, the CAND T&T Table Tennis Club has been playing better and better, maintaining a very stable performance, continuously winning many gold medals in domestic tournaments. Their top players are also highly expected to participate in the 33rd SEA Games at the end of the year, bringing many achievements to the country's sports.

At the 2025 National Strong Teams Tournament, CAND T&T Club also hopes to win many more titles. And the opponents will certainly have to work very hard to compete with them. Specifically, Coach Vu Manh Cuong shared: "Currently, the tournament has 5 more events: men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's singles, women's singles. The club's target is 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal. However, we will try to exceed that number. Of course, it is impossible to predict, today the athletes may play like this, tomorrow they will play like that."

According to the schedule, the men's and women's doubles finals will be held at 7:00 p.m. on September 25, while the men's and women's singles finals and the closing ceremony will take place on September 28.
