Messrs. Fidan and Cameron held secret talks.
A Turkish diplomatic source said Foreign Minister Fidan stressed during the talks that an immediate complete ceasefire in Gaza is needed to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East and that the two-state solution must be implemented.
The two diplomats reaffirmed their determination to strengthen bilateral relations in many fields, especially trade, economy and defense industry.
For his part, Foreign Minister Cameron expressed satisfaction when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a decree on Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) after the Turkish Parliament voted on the bill.
Other topics discussed during the talks included NATO alliance relations and the importance of security in the Black Sea, the source said.
