Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that this year there are a total of 1,071,393 candidates registered to take the exam.
During the entire exam, 30 candidates violated exam regulations and were suspended from the exam for using documents and bringing cell phones into the exam room.
No officer violated the examination regulations. "Up to this point, there has been no record of negative phenomena or organized cheating nationwide," said Mr. Huynh Van Chuong.
According to the Director of the Department of Quality Management, the organization of the exam at all exam locations ensures safety, seriousness, and compliance with the plan, meeting the requirements for a compact and practical exam. The exam is organized seriously, honestly, objectively, safely, and in accordance with regulations, ensuring convenience and fairness for candidates. The exam work is carried out seriously, safely, and confidentially from the central to local levels. The exam basically meets the requirements for exam organization.
According to initial assessments by candidates, teachers and public opinion, the exam questions/subjects are within the high school curriculum, with appropriate differentiation to ensure accurate and objective exam results used to consider recognition of high school graduation and provide data for universities and vocational education institutions to use for enrollment in the spirit of autonomy.
It is expected that at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, the exam scores of candidates nationwide will be announced.
In response to concerns about the leaking of the literature exam questions, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, affirmed that there was no leaking of the literature exam questions. According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, the evidence for leaking would be the appearance of a test question that had duplicated both the language and requirements in the exam. But this did not happen.
Speaking more about this issue, Major General Tran Dinh Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security , informed about the false information about the leaked literature exam on the evening of June 26. Based on the report of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security has checked and found the subject spreading the false information about the leaked exam and this male student admitted that he made the clip himself, and pledged not to repeat the offense. According to Major General Tran Dinh Chung, in the coming time, if any more information is discovered, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to investigate and check.
Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong said that immediately after the end of the exam, the local exam marking councils also started working. The multiple-choice exam marking councils have ensured the conditions of machinery and equipment to serve the computer-based exam marking work.
Regarding the essay test scoring, before the start of scoring, the councils will meet to agree on the scoring guidelines. It is expected that at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, the test scores of candidates nationwide will be announced. The Departments of Education and Training will be responsible for the high school graduation assessment of candidates. After the test scores are available, candidates wishing to apply for university admission will register their wishes on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training, including early admission wishes and admission wishes using high school graduation exam results.
The leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training said that they will continue to direct, guide and strengthen inspection, examination and supervision to ensure good implementation of the stages of marking, comparing test score data, announcing test results, reviewing test papers, considering high school graduation for candidates and university admission. The inspection teams of the National Examination Steering Committee and 63 inspection teams of the Ministry of Education and Training will inspect the marking work at 63 Examination Councils during this activity to enhance the seriousness of the marking work.
