Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested that in the coming days, military schools must finalize the list and notify successful candidates for admission within the prescribed time; organize fair and accurate health check-ups for candidates; and carry out post-inspection of admission work in accordance with regulations.

Emphasizing that the military recruitment review must consider the quality of human resources for the Army as the top priority, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong noted that military schools must recruit enough and not add more.

For military schools that have not yet recruited enough students, it is necessary to base on the specific situation and report on additional wishes, but not lower than the issued standard score.

Military schools continue to select successful candidates to send for training abroad, and non-military schools must ensure they meet the standards and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.

Along with that, military units, schools, and localities seriously organize summaries and specific assessments of military recruitment work in 2023; build directions for military recruitment work in 2024; continue to create trust for candidates and their families to choose to register for military schools in the following years.
