Da Nang supports social housing for officials whose houses are far from their workplace.

DNO - On September 10, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Decision No. 29/2025/QD-UBND detailing the cases where people who own houses but are far from their workplaces are entitled to social housing support policies in the city.

Subjects are eligible for the policy of purchasing or hire-purchasing social housing when ensuring the following conditions: Owning a house but located 30km or more from the workplace and 15km or more from the social housing project registered to purchase or hire-purchase; the distance from the registered social housing project to the workplace must be shorter than the distance from the owned house to the workplace.

Similarly, for mountainous, remote and island areas of Da Nang city, as determined by competent state agencies, the following conditions must be met: Owning a house but located 20km or more from the workplace and 10km or more from the social housing project registered for purchase or lease purchase.

At the same time, the distance from registered social housing to the workplace must be shorter than the distance from owned housing to the workplace.

Distance is determined by the length of the shortest road route between two points.
