Special art program "Vietnam - Laos love forever"

(GLO)- An art program with the theme "The steadfast and loyal love between Vietnam and Laos" took place on the evening of August 18 at the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command with 14 unique singing, dancing and music performances.

The art program imbued with Lao cultural identity, including revolutionary songs praising the Party, the State of Vietnam - Laos, President Ho Chi Minh , President Kaysone Phomvihane, the Vietnam-Laos solidarity and friendship... was elaborately and thoughtfully staged, leaving many good impressions in the hearts of viewers.

The program is a meaningful cultural and spiritual gift that the General Department of Politics and the Lao People's Army Art Troupe want to send to Vietnam on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The music night is also an opportunity for officers and soldiers of the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command and local people to better understand the country, culture, and fine traditions of the Lao people and Army; contributing to fostering the affection and close bond between the armies and people of Vietnam and Laos.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Pham Van Dat - Deputy Political Commissar of Gia Lai Provincial Military Command - emphasized: Throughout the development journey, over the years, the provincial armed forces have always received the attention, help and companionship of the Party, State, Army and the wholehearted protection, shelter and assistance of the people of Laos.

In particular, the direct support in searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in the Laos battlefield back home clearly demonstrates the tradition, solidarity, and close relationship of the two States and two armies.

Colonel Say-sa-na Sa-Lom-Sac, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Lao People's Army), also expressed his joy and honor when the delegation performed and exchanged in Vietnam. This is a valuable opportunity for artists, actors, officers and soldiers of the two countries to strengthen their solidarity and close ties. At the same time, the Colonel hopes that the people and armies of the two countries will continue to accompany and support each other to develop together in the coming time.
