Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan appointed Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security

(Dan Tri) - From January 20, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police, was transferred to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

On the afternoon of January 20, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the personnel work of the Ministry of Public Security Office.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan (47 years old), Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police, to take up the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security from January 20.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To affirmed that Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan was assessed by the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee as a cadre with strong political will, good moral qualities, basic training, maturity from the grassroots, work experience, leadership, direction, management and operation capabilities.

According to the Senior Lieutenant General, the transfer of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan to work and hold the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security shows the trust of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in Colonel Toan personally, and is also a joy, honor, and heavy responsibility for the new Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive his new assignment, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan expressed his thanks to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province, and the provincial departments and branches for their attention, direction, coordination and support during his time as Director of the Provincial Police Department.

Colonel Toan also thanked the officers, soldiers, comrades and teammates who always accompanied, helped and supported him in the process of performing his duties.

The new Chief of the Ministry's Office hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Ministry's leaders; the solidarity, coordination and assistance of the leaders, officers and soldiers of the Ministry's Office; the assistance and coordination of agencies and units to help the Ministry's Office perform its tasks well, especially in advising the Ministry's leaders to lead, command, direct and operate the People's Public Security force to carry out requirements and tasks in the current situation.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan is from Hai Phong City. In October 2019, Colonel Toan was appointed Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police. At that time, he was the youngest provincial police director in the country.
