Nguyen Thuy Linh made history at the Vietnam Open badminton tournament in the BWF Super Tour 100 system when she won the championship for the third consecutive time. This year's championship title brought the Dong Nai player a prize of 7,500 USD (about 190 million VND) and 5,500 bonus points on the Badminton World Federation's rankings.
