Looking back at the 35 days of intense agenda of the 9th Session, the 15th National Assembly with particularly important milestones in the country's legislative history, there were important contributions from the National Assembly Delegations. With careful preparation "from early, from afar", the National Assembly Deputies of Thanh Hoa province have maximized their intelligence, enthusiasm and responsibility to contribute with the National Assembly to create historic decisions, bringing the country into a new period of development.

Taking place in the context of the country urgently implementing the revolution of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, the Ninth Session is the session with the largest workload since the beginning of the term. Promoting the spirit of intelligence and responsibility, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province has always proactively studied documents, actively contributed opinions to draft laws, resolutions and contents on the agenda of the session. With nearly 30 discussions in the hall, more than 40 discussions in groups, the National Assembly Deputies of Thanh Hoa province have left many good impressions in the hearts of voters and people. In particular, many opinions of the National Assembly Deputies of the province demonstrated strategic vision; profound analysis with logic from theory to practice; many proposals and recommendations were recognized, highly appreciated by the National Assembly and accepted to perfect resolutions and draft laws to ensure legal provisions and meet practical requirements.

Typically, regarding the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, in Clause 2, Article 115, the National Assembly Deputies of Thanh Hoa province proposed to maintain the provisions on the right of People's Council deputies to question the Chief Justice of the People's Court and the Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy. Because this is an important content to strengthen supervision, control of power, and enhance the role of elected bodies at the local level. The content of this recommendation and proposal of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province, as well as the recommendations of many other National Assembly Deputies, was accepted and adjusted by the National Assembly in Resolution No. 203/2025/QH15 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, passed on June 16, 2025.

According to Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Lai The Nguyen, in the legislative activities of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies have a central position with a core role that makes important contributions to deciding the quality, effectiveness, and feasibility of draft laws. Fully aware of this, each National Assembly deputy of Thanh Hoa province is always active and proactive in researching to provide objective, comprehensive, and specific analysis of both content and legislative techniques, with full political , legal, and practical bases. "I believe that the spirit of "proactive legislation" of the 15th National Assembly has been and will continue to spread, contributing to building an increasingly perfect legal system, meeting the practical requirements of the country".

Concerned with voters' thoughts and wishes

In addition to being active, proactive and responsible in legislative activities, the National Assembly Deputies of Thanh Hoa province always pay attention to the thoughts and aspirations of voters. In the discussion sessions in the hall and in groups, the National Assembly Deputies of the province frankly mentioned "hot" issues that are of great concern to voters, directly affecting the lives, health and lives of voters and the people.

Typically, the National Assembly deputies of Thanh Hoa province requested the Government, ministries and branches to continue reviewing and perfecting legal regulations on production and trade of goods, strengthening post-inspection work; increasing fines to be sufficiently deterrent; regulating criminal prosecution for acts of producing and consuming counterfeit and poor-quality goods causing serious consequences, especially those related to medicines, food, and goods related to human health. The deputies also requested the Government to focus on directing the complete handling of the situation of abandoned resettlement houses; speeding up the process of granting land use right certificates to the people; handling fraud in cyberspace; having a plan to arrange surplus public assets after merging administrative units...

In particular, through monitoring the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at this session, many voters of Thanh Hoa province expressed their impression and agreement with the statements of the Provincial National Assembly Deputies at the National Assembly's discussion session on supervising the settlement of voters' petitions. According to voter Nguyen Thi Minh (Dinh Hoa commune): Provincial National Assembly Deputies have fully understood the feelings of voters when speaking before the National Assembly that the majority of voters' petitions were mainly explained and provided with information by ministries and branches, some answers were still general, with unclear handling plans. I myself, as well as many voters and people across the country, hope that competent authorities at the central and local levels will continue to pay more attention and closely monitor to thoroughly and thoroughly resolve voters' legitimate petitions.
