Speeding up the progress of key projects in Ha Tinh

In the atmosphere of historic autumn days, at construction sites and key projects in Ha Tinh , contractors are speeding up construction progress to complete the workload as planned.

Up to this point, the Dong Vinh resettlement area project in Kim Song Truong commune has reached about 95% progress.

Identifying resettlement areas as an important item contributing to speeding up site clearance work for the North-South expressway project, immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, Can Loc district directed the contractor and supervision consultant to concentrate human resources and equipment to speed up construction.

At Dong Vinh resettlement area (Kim Song Truong commune), Minh Hung Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company ( Nghe An ) is mobilizing maximum forces and means to implement construction, ensuring project progress. Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung - Construction site commander said: "Since the start of construction, the project progress has always met the requirements. We have arranged maximum human resources, at times up to more than 50 construction workers; at some peak times, we mobilized overtime at noon, at night... With urgency and determination, up to now, the project has reached about 95% of the volume".

Mr. Tran Manh Son - Vice Chairman of Can Loc District People's Committee informed that with 19.4 km of North - South Expressway passing through the area, the whole district has 254 households affected in terms of residential land and assets on land, of which 131 households are eligible for resettlement. The district has planned to build 5 resettlement areas with 159 plots of land (2 resettlement areas in Kim Song Truong commune, the remaining areas in Trung Loc, Quang Loc, Son Loc).

Recently, Can Loc has focused on building infrastructure for resettlement areas so that households can soon build houses and hand over land to implement the project. Up to now, the basic items have been completed, most households are building houses in the resettlement areas to hand over land for the project. The district is determined to complete the procedures for granting land use right certificates to people soon.

Along with Can Loc, the whole province is implementing the construction of 26 resettlement areas and 4 cemeteries to serve the North-South expressway project. Up to now, 30/30 resettlement areas have completed the design appraisal and approval step; some resettlement areas have completed construction.

Contractors leveled and rolled the foundation so that the Nghen dike project (Loc Ha district) could be completed and put into use soon.

Also with a sense of urgency, these days, workers at the construction site of the Nghen Left Dike Emergency Treatment Project - Loc Ha district (with a total length of over 10 km and a total investment of 182 billion VND) are rushing to level and roll the foundation so that the project can be completed soon and put into use in early 2024. In addition to creating a highlight for the environmental landscape and combining it with traffic routes, the upgraded dike sections also have the function of protecting and closing the dike system against floods and tides, directly protecting the lives and property of about 12,000 people in Ich Hau, Thach Kim communes and Loc Ha town (Loc Ha district).

Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - officer in charge of construction of Anh Dao Construction Joint Stock Company (Hong Linh Town) said: "The construction unit is constructing 1.3 km of upgrading the Nghen dike in Ich Hau commune. Up to now, we have completed over 80% of the volume. In the past few days, the weather has been favorable, the company is urgently speeding up the progress, striving to complete the basic items before the flood season, contributing to ensuring the safety of crops, ponds as well as production activities in the area. Even during this September 2nd holiday, the company also assigned workers to be on duty, maintaining the construction work."

Projects in Ha Tinh are directed decisively by investors and contractors are actively involved.

In Ky Anh town, the road project from National Highway 12C to Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Complex is also being focused on construction. This is a project under the socio-economic recovery and development program according to Resolution 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 of the Government with an estimated cost of more than 500 billion VND.

Mr. Le Duc Thang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ha Tinh Industrial Development - Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company shared: "Our company is one of the units undertaking the construction of a number of items on the route of the project. The company is divided into 3 groups, working in 3 shifts, 4 teams with the spirit of handing over the site to where, then building to that point.

To ensure progress, the company has mobilized two modern, synchronous equipment lines at construction sites. In parallel with the construction site, the company also mobilized resources and signed contracts with partners to mass produce components, ensuring installation at the items according to plan.

Construction units are urgently implementing projects to upgrade the traffic system in Ha Tinh city.

With a bustling construction atmosphere, racing against time to complete important items before the rainy season, projects in Ha Tinh are being directed decisively by investors and contractors are actively participating.

In particular, provincial leaders and working groups always closely direct the construction progress of projects; regularly inspect the site of key projects, urge construction; work with investors every quarter to promptly handle problems... Thanks to that, by the end of August 2023, Ha Tinh had disbursed public investment capital at 48.8% of the plan (more than 4,200 billion VND), higher than the general disbursement rate of the whole country.
