Speeding up the progress of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Project

On July 9, the Dong Thap Provincial Project Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Investment (PPI) coordinated with the joint venture of supervision consultants and construction contractors to organize a launching ceremony for a peak emulation campaign to speed up the construction progress of the construction package of Component Project 2 of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Project, Phase 1.

Accordingly, the parties committed to completing all major items before October 10. For the road section, the entire route will complete the work of filling and handling weak soil before August 25, 2025, except for areas that have not been cleared. At the same time, crushed stone aggregate materials will be gathered at the construction site to serve the roadbed loading, ensuring construction progress.

As for the bridge section, the construction units aim to basically complete the installation of girders along the entire route by October 10. The entire main structure of the bridges is expected to be completed by the end of December 2025, except for sections that are still stuck in site clearance. During the implementation process, the construction work will strictly comply with construction regulations, ensuring quality, traffic safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation.

Joint venture contractors and supervision consultants speed up project construction progress

Component 2 of the project is approximately 11.43km long, with an investment of over VND3,856 billion. Up to now, the total allocated capital has reached VND2,941 billion, of which VND2,338 billion has been disbursed, equivalent to 79.49%. Currently, the contractor consortium is mobilizing 40 construction teams along the entire route.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong, Director of the Project Management Board, said that this event aims to stimulate the competitive spirit throughout the construction site. At the same time, she requested the construction units to improve their management and supervision capacity; promote the application of technology, improve techniques; promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and creativity to overcome difficulties, reach the finish line on schedule, ensure absolute quality and safety during the construction process.
