According to the announcement of Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted, this year the Math class continues to maintain its top position with the highest standard score of 26.5 (1 point lower than last year).
Next, the Chemistry specialized class got a lower standard score of 25.75 points, the IT specialized class got 25.25 points (increased 2 points compared to last year).

Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted recruits 315 students for 10th grade majors in Math, Literature, English, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Except for Math and English, which recruit 70 students, each of the remaining subjects recruits 35 students.
The school received 6,100 applicants. The English specialized class had the most applicants - 2,049, with a competition ratio of 1/29.3. This is also the specialized class with the highest competition ratio among the university-affiliated high schools.
Candidates take the exam on June 1. In the morning, they take the Math and Literature exams, each subject lasts 90 minutes, and in the afternoon they take the specialized subject exam for 120 minutes.
Admission score = total score of three exams, including Math and Literature coefficient 1 and specialized subject coefficient 2.
