"Roll call" of the 10 largest tax-paying companies in Ha Tinh

According to statistics from the Provincial Tax Department, Ha Tinh has 10 enterprises paying more than VND 1,558 billion in domestic taxes, accounting for 40.7% of the total taxes paid by enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the first 9 months of 2023.

Like previous years, Saigon - Ha Tinh Beer Company Limited (Thach Ha) often ranked second and third in the top 10 largest tax-paying enterprises in Ha Tinh. However, this year, this enterprise has excelled in taking the top position when paying more than 504.8 billion VND in domestic taxes in the first 9 months of 2023.

Formosa Hung Nghiep Iron and Steel Company Limited is the second largest domestic tax payer in the province.

The runner-up position belongs to Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (Ky Anh Town). Since the beginning of the year, Formosa Ha Tinh has produced more than 3.6 million tons of various steel billets, achieving revenue of nearly VND 66,000 billion. Thereby, the company has paid more than VND 358.8 billion to the State budget. This enterprise also paid nearly VND 6,000 billion in import-export tax in the first 9 months of 2023.

In third place is Ha Tinh Petroleum Company (Ha Tinh City) with tax payment of more than 253.3 billion VND.

Ha Tinh Petroleum Company paid more than 253.3 billion VND in taxes.

Mr. Truong Doan Duc - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Company said: "Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions to overcome difficulties and ensure a stable supply of goods, in 2023, the company's business activities grew quite well, with revenue reaching 90% of the yearly plan, with more than 3,900 billion VND. Not only did the company pay higher taxes than the same period last year, it also created stable jobs for nearly 400 employees with an average income of about 14 million VND/person/month, 20% higher than in 2022. The company also implemented many social security activities in the province with a total value of more than 4.5 billion VND".

Next, the ranking of the 10 largest tax-paying enterprises in Ha Tinh includes the following units: Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company (Ha Tinh City), more than 155 billion VND; Hoanh Son Group Joint Stock Company (Hong Linh Town), more than 145 billion VND; Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited Branch in Ha Tinh (Ky Anh Town), more than 61 billion VND; Hong Lam Xuan Thanh Joint Stock Company (Nghi Xuan), more than 24.8 billion VND; Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company Limited (Ky Anh Town), more than 19.8 billion VND; MCC Vietnam Business Operation Company Limited (Ky Anh Town), more than 18.6 billion VND and Ha Tinh Electricity Company - Branch of Northern Power Corporation (Ha Tinh City), more than 17.6 billion VND.

Not only appearing in the ranking of 10 largest tax-paying enterprises for Ha Tinh, Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited Branch also cooperated with Ha Tinh Newspaper to implement many social security activities in the area.

Notably, in the ranking of the 10 largest tax-paying enterprises, there are two new faces: Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited Branch in Ha Tinh and MCC Vietnam Business Operations Company Limited.

According to statistics from the Ha Tinh Tax Department, the whole province currently has 18,131 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households that generate taxes in the province. In the first 9 months of 2023, the business community, cooperatives, and business households paid more than 3,819 billion VND, an increase of 30% over the same period in 2022 and equal to 64.4% compared to the total domestic budget revenue in the first 9 months of 2023.

Of which, the 10 largest tax-paying enterprises paid more than 1,558 billion VND, accounting for 40.7% of the total tax paid by enterprises, cooperatives, and business households. Along with paying large taxes, these enterprises also created stable jobs for tens of thousands of workers with incomes ranging from 7 to 15 million VND/person/month.

Ha Tinh Tax Department staff support businesses in declaring tax administrative procedures

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuong - Head of Taxpayer Support and Propaganda Department, Ha Tinh Tax Department said: "In order to create conditions for enterprises to fulfill their State budget obligations, since the beginning of the year, the tax sector has promptly updated new policies for propaganda and support, absolutely not allowing production and business activities of enterprises to stagnate due to problems with tax administrative procedures. Ha Tinh Tax sector is also supporting enterprises to extend the deadline for tax and land rent payment according to Decree No. 12/2023/ND-CP; reduce land rent and water surface rent for 2022 according to Decision No. 01/2023/QD-TT; freeze and erase late payment fines and late payment fees according to Resolution No. 94/2019/QH14..."

The gratitude activities of the tax sector are creating motivation for businesses to continue to compete in production and business, contributing more and more to the local state budget collection.
