On the afternoon of July 22, Saigon University announced the floor scores for two methods of considering high school graduation exam scores and computer-based university entrance exam scores in 2024 (VSAT).

In the high school graduation exam scoring method, the minimum score for mathematics education is 24.5 points, and for English education is 23 points. The remaining education majors have a minimum score of 19 points.

For pedagogical majors, if candidates have an English subject that uses the results of converting international English certificates into admission scores according to the school's regulations, the total score of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination + 2/3 priority points (if any) must reach at least 2/3 of the 2024 entrance threshold for the corresponding teacher training majors as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training (19 points).

For preschool education, music pedagogy and fine arts pedagogy, the literature score or math score in the admission combination + 1/3 priority score (if any) must reach at least 1/3 of the 2024 entrance threshold for the corresponding teacher training majors as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Meanwhile, in non-pedagogical majors, the minimum score ranges from 16 to 21 points.

For the admission method using the results of the 2024 computer-based university entrance exam, the minimum score for each major is from 240 - 315.

The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in each admission combination of each major plus priority points for subjects and regions (if any). The admission score is converted to a 450-point scale and the maximum is 450 points.

The literature subject score is taken from the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam in the admission combinations (if any) from a 10-point scale to a 150-point scale.
