Tuyen Quang delegation visits new rural areas in Huong Son

Members of the working delegation of the Office for New Rural Development Coordination of Tuyen Quang province expressed their impression with the results of new rural construction in Huong Son district ( Ha Tinh ).

On the morning of August 16, a delegation from the Office for New Rural Development Coordination of Tuyen Quang province, led by the Head of the Department of Rural Development and Deputy Head of the Office for New Rural Development of the province, Le Hai Nam, visited and learned about the experience of building new rural areas in Huong Son district. Deputy Head of the Office for New Rural Development of Ha Tinh province, Ngo Dinh Long, received the delegation.

The delegation visited Son Kim 2 commune (Huong Son district) - a mountainous commune that achieved advanced NTM standards at the end of 2020 and visited the model residential area of ​​Che Bien village of the commune.

Che Bien village has 198 households, with 710 people. Since 2016, the village has been building a model new rural residential area. With the high consensus and unity of the people, by the end of 2016, the village achieved 10/10 criteria. After reaching the standard, households are always proactive in arranging their gardens, cleaning the environment, continuing to build, improve and maintain the criteria.

The delegation visited Hien Ngoc Deer Antler facility, Son Giang commune.

On this occasion, the delegation visited OCOP facilities in Huong Son district. From the incentive policies of the province and district, up to now, Huong Son district is the locality with the largest number of products recognized as meeting OCOP standards in the province with 48 products, including 47 3-star products and 1 4-star product (Chien Son deer antler powder).

At the destinations, the delegation of the Tuyen Quang Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office exchanged and shared experiences in the process of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Area Construction with the owners of OCOP establishments, village officials, leaders of Huong Son communes and district and the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office. Especially the experience in building advanced new rural communes, model new rural communes, deer farming models, OCOP products...

The delegation visited the honey processing model at Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuc's household (Che Bien village).

Members of the working group of the Office for New Rural Development Coordination of Tuyen Quang province expressed their impression with the results of new rural development in Huong Son district in particular and Ha Tinh province in general. The methods and experiences of Ha Tinh are the basis for Tuyen Quang province to refer to and flexibly apply in practice in the process of building new rural areas in the locality.
