The Central delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Union worked with the Nghe An Farmers' Union

On the morning of November 22, the Central Working Delegation of the Vietnam Farmers ' Union had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Union to evaluate the implementation of the Union's tasks and the farmers' movement in Nghe An province in 2024, and at the same time deploy key tasks of the Union's work in 2025.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and worked with the delegation.

Comrade Bui Thi Thom - Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.

At the meeting, the Provincial Farmers' Association reported to the working delegation on outstanding results in 2024. Accordingly, farmers' associations at all levels in the province continue to promote the role of the Association in agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Union reported to the working delegation on the results of implementing tasks in 2024.

The Association has supported the construction of 173 key economic models in agriculture ; established 56 cooperative groups, 8 agricultural cooperatives with 748 members; built 190 gardens meeting new rural standards; created 582 "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" roads; supported the construction and repair of 255 houses for poor members and members facing housing difficulties.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - hoped that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union would continue to pay attention, direct and implement more activities to support the work of the Union and the provincial farmers' movement, so that the activities of the Nghe An Farmers' Union will develop more rapidly and sustainably.

Comrade Bui Thi Thom - Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results that the Nghe An Farmers' Union has achieved in the past time; and oriented a number of key tasks in the coming time.

Comrade Bui Thi Thom - Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union - also noted a number of contents that need to be focused on implementing in 2025, especially innovating the content and methods of the Union's activities; providing good consulting services, supporting farmers, especially supporting farmers in digital transformation. She emphasized listening to farmers' thoughts, aspirations and resolving problems to promptly reflect and advise authorities at all levels to remove difficulties for farmers.
