The workshop was co-chaired by Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man with comrades: Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh. Attending the workshop were leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government; representatives of central committees, ministries, branches; scientists and National Assembly delegations of provinces and cities.
The delegation of National Assembly deputies of Tuyen Quang province attending included comrades: Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the full-time National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of the province; Ma Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the full-time National Assembly Delegation of the province.
In her speech, Comrade Ly Thi Lan emphasized that the 80-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly is a glorious historical journey, closely linked to the revolutionary cause of the nation. The National Assembly has always affirmed its position as the highest representative body of the People, the highest State power body, the place to institutionalize the will and aspirations of the People, contributing greatly to the struggle for independence, construction, protection and development of the country.
He also affirmed the special role of Tuyen Quang - the Capital of the Liberated Zone, the Capital of the Resistance - in the formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly. From the event of the Tan Trao National Congress in 1945 to the General Election in 1946, Tuyen Quang became the "cradle" of the birth of the Vietnamese National Assembly, a place where democratic values and national unity converged, fostered and spread.
With pride as the revolutionary homeland, the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province through all terms has always upheld the spirit of responsibility, closely connected with voters, actively and effectively participated in constitutional, legislative, supervision and decision-making activities on important issues of the country.

National Assembly deputies of Tuyen Quang province have been making efforts to innovate and improve the quality of their activities, promote their role as a bridge between the people and the Party and State, and bring the voice of Tuyen Quang voters to the National Assembly.
Along with that, Tuyen Quang province determined that preserving and promoting the values of revolutionary relics, especially the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site and historical sites associated with the activities of the National Assembly during the resistance war, is a regular task, closely linked to socio-economic development.
In the coming time, the province will continue to pay attention to investing and exploiting the Tan Trao National Special Relic Site to become a historical tourism center of the whole country, a place to educate revolutionary traditions for each generation of Vietnamese people, especially the young generation, about the core values of the nation, deeply forming a sense of self-reliance, self-improvement, and contributing to the cause of building and developing the country.
The National Scientific Conference listened to and discussed many important presentations, focusing on clarifying the Party's comprehensive leadership of the National Assembly over the past 80 years; the development process of the National Assembly in terms of constitution-making, legislation, supervision, and decision-making on important issues of the country; at the same time, providing orientations to continue innovating and improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly's operations, affirming the stature and position of the Vietnamese National Assembly until 2045.
