However, with the spirit of innovation, creativity and high political determination, the Border Guard Party Committee has proposed many policies and solutions to lead and direct Party committees, commanders at all levels and all officers and soldiers to overcome existing difficulties and adapt to and deal with new challenges, especially unprecedented issues ; Solidarity, common will, and outstanding efforts to basically and comprehensively complete the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 15th Border Guard Party Congress, including many tasks that were excellently completed.
Notably: proactive, sensitive, creative in research, strategic forecasting, consulting on handling and effectively resolving situations on the border and islands; firmly managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; constantly perfecting the system of legal documents on borders and the Border Guard; strengthening leadership and direction in building the Border Guard force in the direction of being lean, compact, strong, effective and efficient; promoting comprehensive, regular and strong building; effectively combat all types of crime, ensure political security, order and social safety in border areas; carry out border diplomacy well, contributing to building a peaceful , friendly, stable, cooperative and developing border.
In particular, the Border Guard Party Committee attaches great importance to staff work and participates in building a strong grassroots political system; with many effective models, programs, and methods in economic, cultural, and social development, which are highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities, and people. The image of border guards at checkpoints to prevent illegal immigration and the COVID-19 epidemic; on the podium bringing the light of knowledge to children; going down to villages to take care of people's health or performing the task of strengthening communes, together with Party committees and local authorities, staying close to the people, staying close to the area, sharing hardships and difficulties, creating a new life for the people, especially in areas where natural disasters, storms, and floods occur... has become a beautiful symbol of the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contributing to consolidating and fostering the flesh-and-blood military-civilian relationship.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan : The Border Guard Party Committee always determines that promoting "party spirit" according to Ho Chi Minh's thought is an important basis and a regular task to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees at all levels to lead and direct the entire force to successfully carry out the task of managing and firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security. Therefore, with the motto of "proactive, close, timely, effective", the Border Guard Party Committee has led and directed Party committees and organizations at all levels to focus on researching, studying, grasping and implementing resolutions and directives from higher levels, constantly innovating and building a scientific, democratic, professional and effective working style and manner.

In particular, special attention is paid to the preparation of congress documents; ensuring a balanced and coherent structure; high generality, comprehensive, objective and honest assessment of the achieved results; clearly stating the advantages and disadvantages and drawing out causes and lessons learned in accordance with the new situation and tasks. The Party Committee has drawn up a comparison table of the implementation results of the Congress Resolution's targets for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms to set realistic and appropriate goals for the 2025-2030 term. The review reports of the Party Committees at all levels demonstrate a fighting spirit with a high spirit of self-criticism and criticism, clearly defining the responsibilities of the collective and the roles of individuals; proposing plans, roadmaps and effective measures to correct and overcome limitations and shortcomings in the coming term. The work of preparing personnel at all levels for the new term is carried out strictly, democratically, objectively, in accordance with the Party's principles and procedures. Regarding the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command focus on:
Firstly , thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on military, national defense, and border defense; maintain and strengthen the leadership in all aspects of the Central Military Commission, and the centralized and unified management and operation of the Ministry of National Defense over the Border Guard.
Second, promote heroic traditions and comprehensive strength, build a clean and strong Party organization; build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Border Guard; well perform the core and specialized role in managing and firmly protecting national sovereignty, territory and border security.
Third, build a "people's border defense foundation, people's border defense posture" and a strong border area, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative and developing border.
