Accompanying new students

In late August and early September 2025, new students from various localities gathered in Da Nang city to complete admission procedures. Accordingly, many activities to support new students were deployed by colleges and universities. At the University of Technology, Da Nang University, the accommodation search application dedicated to the school's students called BK's Map 2025 was relaunched. The application has a rich accommodation data system, which is constantly updated and censored by the Polytechnic Student Advisory Team (under the University of Technology) to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Accordingly, students who need to find accommodation only need to access the application, choose the area and easily find vacant rooms with full real pictures, prices, locations and contact phone numbers, avoiding situations of deposit fraud and brokers raising room prices.

A representative of the Polytechnic Student Advisory Team said that in order to diversify the accommodation system, before welcoming new students, the team mobilized students staying around the school to contribute information about their accommodation to the application. With useful contributions, each student will receive up to 5 community service points.

Similarly, the Dong A University Youth Union also effectively maintains the Housing Bank model. Up to now, Dong A University's Housing Bank has more than 4,000 accommodations that are constantly updated with full pictures, prices, quality, location, and contact phone numbers, helping students easily find the right accommodation for their needs.

The representative of Dong A University said that the volunteer team supporting accommodation for new students is divided into three groups, including: a group in charge of directly consulting on accommodation for new students coming to enroll, a group supporting parents and students to see the rooms; a group providing initial support at the accommodation to help new students get acquainted and settle into life.

Phan Thi Diem Nhi (from Gia Lai province) went to Da Nang city for the first time to study at Dong A University and was supported by the students to find a room near the school. After determining the place to rent, Nhi and her mother were picked up by the Support Team to see the room and transport their luggage to the place to rent.

“I feel very lucky to have received enthusiastic support from the Volunteer Team supporting accommodation for new students. They have accompanied me from consulting, taking me to see rooms for free to helping me buy essential living items,” Nhi shared.

Meanwhile, the Union of the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education , University of Education, Danang University also launched the program "Introducing reputable accommodation addresses" to help new students quickly find suitable accommodation to study with peace of mind.

In addition to introducing reputable boarding houses, the Union of the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education also shares notes for new students in the process of finding a boarding house... Thereby, helping new students, especially students from other provinces, feel secure in entering a new, stable learning environment.
