Mr. Kieu Van Hiep, Chairman of Duy Nghia Association in Ho Chi Minh City, said that this is the amount of money donated by fellow countrymen in the city from many charity and fundraising activities over the past time.

"We consider this the responsibility of children far from home and also the joy and sincere affection towards our homeland. Duy Nghia is where we were born and raised, so even though we are far away, we always want to contribute a small part to useful activities for our homeland," said Mr. Hiep.
