(NLDO)- Thousands of tourists have flocked to Nua Mountain, one of the sacred acupuncture points in Thanh Hoa, to enjoy spring, sightsee, and pray for good luck in the new year.

On the morning of February 6 (January 9), at the national relic site of Nua - Am Tien temple (Nua town, Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province), the 2025 Nua - Am Tien temple festival and the "opening of heaven" ceremony on Nua mountain took place.

Thousands of people and tourists flock to Nua - Am Tien temple to worship, sightsee, and enjoy the spring at the beginning of the new year.

Despite the drizzly and cold weather, from the night of February 5 to the early morning of February 6, thousands of people and tourists from everywhere flocked to Nua - Am Tien Temple, where there is a sacred acupuncture point on the top of Nua Mountain, to make offerings and pray for luck.

According to records, on the top of Nua mountain there is a round stone placed in the sacred acupuncture point area. Many tourists who come to visit during the spring festival compete to drop coins and rub their hands on the stone, with the belief of praying for luck.

According to legend, Vietnam has 3 sacred acupuncture points. In addition to the acupuncture point in Da Chong mountain (Ba Vi, Hanoi ), the acupuncture point in Ba Den mountain (Tay Ninh), in Thanh Hoa there is the Am Tien acupuncture point.
