On September 29, information from the People's Committee of Hung Son commune ( Da Nang city), the same morning, the police and military forces of this commune coordinated to use a hammock to carry a patient residing in Laos over a dangerous mountain road back to the village after a period of treatment in the hospital.
Accordingly, Ms. Poloong Thi Deeng (75 years old, residing in Abubl village, Kaleum district, SeKong province, Laos) was in pain so she entered the country for treatment at the Northern Quang Nam Mountainous Regional General Hospital (located in Dai Loc commune, Da Nang city).
After a period of treatment, Ms. Poloong Thi Deeng wishes to be discharged from the hospital and return home.
The journey back home encountered many obstacles due to unfavorable weather, the impact of storm Bualoi, which caused heavy rain in the mountainous area, making the roads difficult to travel. Therefore, the family asked the Hung Son commune authorities for support.

Upon receiving the request, the Commune Military Command and Hung Son Commune Police quickly dispatched forces to directly take the patient home.
Military officers, soldiers, and commune police took turns using a hammock to carry Ms. Poloong Thi Deeng across a nearly 5km long forest path from Atu 2 village (Hung Son commune) to Abu village in Laos safely, handing her over to her family for care.
This timely action by the police and military forces has ensured safety for the people, demonstrated responsibility, and strengthened solidarity and cohesion between the authorities and people of the two localities bordering Vietnam and Laos.
