The 586 Central Square is about 5 hectares wide, located in the administrative area of Cai Rang district, about 500 meters from the headquarters of the People's Committee of Cai Rang district. Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Vo Ngoc Chau, Director of the branch of Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company 586 in Can Tho, said that more than 200 workers of this company are divided into 3 shifts, working all night to complete the site in time to hand over to flower and ornamental plant vendors for Tet (Photo: Bao Tran).

Cai Rang District will start handing over the premises to people who want to sell Tet flowers from January 19. The market is expected to open from January 25 (December 15) and end on February 9 (New Year's Eve). However, traders can display bonsai until the end of January.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Tan Nhon, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Can Tho City, said that the department and specialized agencies are in the process of mobilizing local people and neighboring provinces to organize the purchase, exchange of goods, and display of typical products at Square 586.
"In fact, every year, people gather at Square 586 to sell flowers and ornamental plants for Tet. However, this year, under the leadership of the Department of Industry and Trade, the city's departments and agencies coordinate to mobilize businesses to rebuild the space, creating the best conditions for people to conveniently buy and sell flowers and ornamental plants for Tet," said Mr. Nhon.
