According to export businesses, Vietnam is currently entering the final stages of the coffee harvest.
There is not much inventory left in the market, while export contracts that have been signed in advance force businesses to actively buy. This is what keeps domestic coffee prices high, even though world prices show signs of a slight decrease.
As for domestic pepper prices, they are currently in a state of “tug of war”. Supply is scarce but purchasing power has not really improved.
