Update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province said that today's rice price recorded a slight increase compared to yesterday, IR 50404 price fluctuated around 7,900 - 8,000 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice was at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice was at 8,200 - 8,400 VND/kg; OM 18 rice was at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuated from 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; Nhat rice was at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dry) was at 20,000 VND/kg.

Besides, the glutinous rice market remained unchanged compared to yesterday. IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) was 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. An Giang glutinous rice (fresh) was 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg, unchanged compared to yesterday.

The rice market in localities in the Mekong Delta today generally has low supply, little good rice, much weak rice, slow transactions, and prices tend to decrease.

Regarding rice, the price of rice has been adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, raw IR 504 Summer-Autumn rice is down to 11,450 - 11,550 VND/kg, down 50 - 100 VND/kg; finished IR 504 rice is down to 13,450 - 13,550 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg.

By-products today recorded an adjustment compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice remains at 9,400 - 9,500 VND/kg; the price of dry bran has dropped to 6,900 - 7,050 VND/kg, down 100 VND.

At retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted for individual rice products. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; Jasmine rice is VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND20,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates around VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is VND20,000 - 21,000/kg; Huong jasmine rice is VND20,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; common white rice is VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice is VND18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices recorded no adjustment compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice remained at 440 USD/ton; 5% standard rice remained at 579 USD/ton; 25% broken rice remained at 547 USD/ton.
