Pepper prices are also on the rise in the world market. The selling pressure has eased after the main harvest in Brazil ended. Although Vietnam and Brazil still have inventories, farmers and traders are in no hurry to sell.
In addition, speculative buying and growing import demand from the Chinese market also contributed to pushing prices up.
Forecasts for the last months of 2025 show that pepper prices will continue to remain high and may increase slightly. However, the market is still at risk of strong fluctuations if affected by factors such as unusual weather, changes in harvest output or complicated developments in international trade.
