In the same trend, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited increased by 1 million VND/tael each way, to 125.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 128.7 million VND/tael (sell).
With the above developments, the price of SJC gold bars broke the historical peak of 130.6 million VND/tael recorded last week to set a new peak of 133.4 million VND/tael. The price of gold rings also reached an all-time high of 128.7 million VND/tael.
In the international market, at 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,500 USD/ounce, a sharp increase compared to 3,495 USD/ounce at the same time the previous day in the context of increased demand for this commodity as a safe haven to preserve capital. In addition, The prospect of a US Federal Reserve rate cut and a falling US dollar are also important factors supporting gold prices.
The converted world gold price is currently about 21 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
