Gold price increased by 1.3 million VND/tael compared to early morning

After two weeks of keeping the buying and selling price difference at a high level of 3 million VND/tael, today gold shops narrowed the gap to 2.5 million.

However, this is still a large gap compared to the normal price of only a few hundred thousand dong per tael before the gold price "fever".

According to experts, with this difference, investors face the risk of loss when businesses push the risk onto buyers.

Gold rings also increased today but at a lower rate. SJC gold rings of type 1-5 only increased by 100,000 VND to 62 - 63.1 million VND per tael.

The spread between buying and selling gold bars remains high.

99.99% gold jewelry increased to 61.9 - 62.8 million VND. With DOJI gold brand, 9999 round rings increased to 62.55 - 63.5 million VND and 9999 jewelry increased to 62.15 - 63.25 million VND.

Currently, the world spot gold price is around 2,030 USD per ounce, converted according to Vietcombank's selling rate, equivalent to 60.3 million VND per tael.

The difference in domestic and international gold bar prices is around 15 million VND per tael, while domestic gold rings are 2.8 million VND higher than international prices.
