TPO - 100% of the delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council attending the thematic session voted to elect Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

At the 14th session (special session) of the 10th term Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021-2026, which took place on the morning of March 14, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le read the introduction of Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs to be elected as Vice Chairman of the 10th term Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Delegates attending the meeting conducted a secret ballot to elect this position. As a result, 100% of the delegates of the HCMC People's Council voted to elect Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan was born in 1969, hometown Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Nhan has a Master's degree in Political Science , Bachelor's degree in History, Bachelor's degree in Administration, Bachelor's degree in Political Theory.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan on being elected as Vice Chairman of the 10th term Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

Before holding the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nhan had held the following positions and positions: Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc District, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc District, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thu Duc District (now Thu Duc City), Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.

Also at the meeting, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai also approved the proposal of the City People's Committee on the introduction for the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council to elect Ms. Pham Khanh Phong Lan - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to hold the position of member of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

As a result, Ms. Pham Khanh Phong Lan was unanimously elected by the delegates attending the meeting to hold the position of Member of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term X, 2021 - 2026. Ms. Pham Khanh Phong Lan was born in 1970, has the degree of Associate Professor, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Senior Political Theory.

The People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City has presented a resolution confirming the above election results.
